Surviving an Active Shooting

It’s a hard and unsettling truth that mass shootings are a frequent occurrence across our country. The toll it is taking on the victims, victim’s families, colleagues and citizens across the nation is nothing less heart wrenching. We truly never know when a mass shooting event might occur which is why we must address and be prepared for such an event. Our programs are customized to your company’s needs and include support before, during and after training as well as a risk assessment per location. Some of our training programs are:

  • Two-hour Basic Active Shooter Training – Fundamental responses to a life-threatening situations to survive an “active shooter” experience including Run, Hide, Fight!
  • Scenario-based Active Shooter Training – In-depth training on the Run, Hide, or Fight fundamentals. Includes running through scenarios in the workplace and how to utilize their surroundings to protect themselves.
  • Defensive Tactics – Developing a skill set to physically encounter and confidently eliminate a threat. Hands-on instruction using the 5 D’s of Deflect, Dominate, Distract, Disarm, Disable.
  • Firearms Training I – Classroom and range time for basic shooting from standing, barricade, kneeling, and prone during a stressful situation.
  • Firearms Training II – Classroom and range time including working as a team — communicating, moving and shooting. Firearms Training I is a pre-requisite for this training.
