For more than 25 years, Donna has helped leaders and teams across various industries capitalize on their full potential—both personally and professionally. Drawing on her extensive experience in leadership development, conflict-resolution, and behavioral-based safety, Donna serves as a strategic partner by helping individuals identify their purpose, while teaching them how to leverage their purpose as powerful tool to deliver results, and ultimately, make a difference wherever they are.

Donna’s passion derives from her career experience in social work and public health. Having served as a leader in both domains, she learned early on that individual output directly correlates with how much an individual feels valued among their team and by their leaders. Donna’s programs and coaching operate through the premise that a valued employee feels a greater sense of purpose, that their sense of purpose drives action, and the action then produces results to achieve goals. As a certified Experiential Educator, Donna utilizes this methodology in the corporate groups she trains. Not only have these groups experienced measurable successes, but Donna has also experienced the same results using this methodology throughout her leadership career.

For example, as a Program Manager of MHMR of Tarrant County in Fort Worth, Texas, Donna led a team of social workers who worked with the homeless and mentally ill. In addition to the daily challenges associated with this line of work, Donna was responsible for finding creative ways to keep her team from leaving the job for better pay.

Donna has now transitioned out of social work to manage the consulting and coaching firm, Team Focus, Inc. She and a team of professionals provide a variety of services focused on growing employees and building leaders. She is also certified as a speaker, trainer and coach with the John Maxwell Team and is regularly a featured speaker and guest instructor.

  • Intertek: administered pre-workshop qualitative research sessions and facilitated behavioral-based safety training for Pioneer Oil and Gas, Chevron and Chesapeake Energy

  • STMicroelectronics: assessed team’s needs, developed curriculum on leadership and communication skills to break down silos and facilitated workshops; also Implemented a goal development and accountability process resulting in an improvement across all business and financial parameters

  • American Airlines: developed and facilitated multiple leadership and team development workshops on goal setting and communication skills and provided coaching to company leadership

  • General Electric: Developed and delivered training programs on the principles out of the book Crucial Conversations improving conflict resolution skills

  • Nokia: developed and delivered a corporate training program on handling conflict resolution; workshop involved simulations focused on international company acquisitions and hostile work environments
