Team Focus, Inc., is a relational-based organization. Our desire is to become a part of a company’s or an organization’s long-term positive growth and development.  Our goal is to help organizations uncover the untapped potential of their greatest asset – their employees.

We have more than 40 years combined experience with leadership, team development and behavioral-based safety training and facilitation. We partner with companies to build fully engaged leaders and teams that collaborate, communicate and innovate resulting in increased productivity and a more secure work environment.

Our Team Focus professionals train, coach and consult individuals, teams, leaders and organizations. We specialize in the fields of group dynamics, leadership development, team building, employee retention and strategic planning.  We also work with organizations to develop, train and implement behavior-based safety programs to decrease workplace injuries and illnesses.

Our Approach

Our approach to empower and strengthen employees is known as Experiential Team Training because most of us don’t learn by hearing, but rather we learn by doing.  Our process teaches and then provides participants the tools and tactics they need to immediately put the information into practice.  We will customize a consulting, coaching and/or training program to match your specific needs and your company’s culture.  We also use a holistic learning approach known as Accelerative Learning.  Along with our unique accountability process, participants are kept highly engaged, retain more and execute on desired objectives.

Unlike typical lecture training tools, our hands-on minds-in experiential training tools leave lasting impressions that are evidenced in the workplace.  We follow-up with selected individual or group coaching sessions to ensure results are realized and on-going support is readily available as needed.  Many of our clients choose an off-site team training program followed up with ongoing planning, goals assessment and support from our coaches and consultants.

Our Team

Our professionals are not only experienced and certified in a number of training and coaching strategies, but are also backed by leading assessment tools.  We offer the DiSC® profile and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) personality and behavior assessment inventory.  Our coaches and training experts have also earned the John Maxwell Team Certified Member designations.

How We Give Back

All of us at Team Focus place a high value on giving back to our community and those in need. 10% of our profits go to organizations that fight human trafficking and help the elderly. We also are happy to partner with you and your selected local charitable organizations in unique ways to achieve more engagement and satisfaction among program participants, whether the focus is team building events or leadership training.

For example, we have cooperated with a local organization that served underprivileged kids.  The team building program was designed to help build better communication and problem-solving tactics on the job.  The program included a project in which adult participants had a limited time to work with children to build bicycles.  Combined with other strategies, the participants learned more about communication skills and techniques, as well as felt a sense of immediate accomplishment and wellbeing knowing they had contributed in a positive way to a child’s life. The kids beamed as they left with their new bikes.  The adult team members identified new strategies for connecting with their co-workers and this exercise, in particular, gave them a memorable real-life application of principles that they then began to implement on the job.
